Channel 42-53: The Channel of Maturation
This channel embodies growth in cycles: maturity comes when you move through a cycle all the way to the end. What has been started pushes toward completion, and if you step out early, you often come back to it later. That is why it matters what you say yes to in the first place; before a new cycle, you can consult your Strategy and Authority. You may enjoy giving others a push to get started. Keeping your own cycle in view while you do so helps you carry it through to its completion. The teaching suggests enjoying the path rather than worrying about the end, because the reward is the experience itself.

Gate 53: The Gate of Beginnings
Gate 53 is about the urge to start something new, again and again. The drive persists even when a fresh start brings upheaval or slow, difficult first steps; it marks the opening of a new cycle of development.
