Channel 34-57: The Channel of Power (Design of an Archetype)
This channel is about power that acts in the now: life force from the Sacral, guided by intuition, in the moment. In a crisis, this channel can let you act in a flash and get others moving; it is considered a power for survival. That power comes with sensitivity: a lot of force, steered by a gentle sense of things. One theme of this channel is awareness. Without it, this power can cause harm; whether and when you use it is something you decide through your Strategy and Authority. This channel is also associated with the idea that people and projects in a weakened state can gain fresh momentum from this power. What is yours comes first: it has to be right for you before you can be of use to others.
The two gates
Gate 34: The Gate of Power
A power that belongs to the individual: that is one way to sum up Gate 34.
Gate 57: The Gate of Intuitive Insight
Gate 57 stands for intuition in the moment: a sense that sees through a situation as it unfolds, as penetrating as a cool wind that cuts right to the bone.
The two centers
When this channel is defined, both centers are defined.
Sacral Center
Your Sacral stands for life force and stamina, which come into play mostly when you respond to something that speaks to you.
Spleen Center
Your Spleen speaks up spontaneously and only for the moment, and your Authority decides which signal takes the lead for you.
