Channel 17-62: The Channel of Acceptance (A Design of Organization)
This channel stands for organization: putting facts and details into logical order and making them understandable to others. An opinion needs a sound foundation to hold up under scrutiny, and thorough research makes arguments more convincing. This channel is about communicating thoughts through language rather than about the action itself. Even after you've settled on a firm position, your mind keeps checking and may arrive at different conclusions; concepts first have to prove themselves in testing. Anyone who constantly voices their opinion loses impact. That's why choosing what to share and picking a good moment matter, so that others are glad to listen. Fields such as teaching, politics, management and consulting are seen as images for this channel.
The two gates
Gate 17: The Gate of Opinions and Attitudes
Gate 17 is the gate of opinion. You want your view of things to be soundly reasoned and to hold up under scrutiny.
Gate 62: The Gate of Detail Work
Gate 62 is about details that get spoken aloud so that others can grasp something.
The two centers
When this channel is defined, both centers are defined.
Ajna Center
Your way of thinking is fixed and consistent, yet in this teaching it is not the mind that makes decisions.
Throat Center
The way you express yourself is consistent, and how it sounds depends on what your Throat is connected to.
