Profile 5/2: Heretic and Hermit

Your Profile combines stepping forward and having an impact on others with a need to withdraw and doubts about your own role.

Becoming visible and pulling back: both belong to Profile 5/2, a combination of two lines. The first number stands for your conscious side, the Personality, and the second for your unconscious side, the Design. On the conscious side, this is about leading, showing yourself and fascinating others. On the unconscious side, the second line is withdrawn and looks for feedback. So the impact you have on the outside world can alternate with a need for distance. You take on tasks in a big way, yet when you are alone, you question your path.

It can be hard for you to tell whether you come across as genuine or as playing a part, and so your attention turns to how others see you. Stepping out in front of people comes more easily when you are relaxed, and stepping out also brings the worry that the bubble might burst. Other people's opinions are not a reliable measure here. Many roles are open to you, as long as you don't mistake the role for yourself.

This Profile includes performances meant to captivate an audience, followed by a withdrawal. You can accept the applause without taking the performance for your true self. Another theme is an inner conversation about guilt and forgiveness, especially forgiving yourself, which is considered freeing. The Profile carries the name “heretical hermit.”
