Profile 6/2: Role Model and Hermit
Your Profile combines perspective and high standards with a need for retreat and for being called.
Being a role model and needing rest: the 6/2 Profile brings two lines together. The first number stands for your conscious side, the Personality, and the second for your unconscious side, the Design. On the conscious side, the sixth line brings perspective, ideals and the aspiration to be a role model; on the unconscious side, the second line needs retreat, quiet and selectivity. Part of this Profile is the tension of seeing what needs to be done while still wanting to be called to it first. Whether and when you act is something you check with your Strategy and Authority.
Farsightedness belongs to this Profile, along with a feel for the bigger picture and for how missing pieces fit together. You set high standards and tend to take everything into your own hands. Beneath that lies a reserve that has you check first whether the effort is worth it. If this goes unnoticed, it can lead you to sidestep your actual task instead of bringing your wisdom out into the world. Too many tasks are a poor fit for this Profile, and a quiet place to recharge is part of what it needs.
The teaching describes the three phases of the sixth line for the 6/2, with turning points roughly around age 30 and age 50; how they unfold is covered in the text on the sixth line directly below. These are approximations, not a forecast. The Profile is called “Hermit as Role Model.”
