Ego Authority (Manifestor)
Your decisions follow what you truly want, rather than other people's wishes and obligations.
For you, the Ego decides, meaning what you truly want from your own willpower. This applies only when the Solar Plexus, Sacral Center and Spleen are not defined and the Heart (Ego) is connected to the Throat. This configuration is rare: it describes roughly one percent of the population, if anything less.
Here, your own desire, as it shows itself when you speak it out loud, serves as your guide for decisions. The greatest danger lies in other people's wishes and obligations: if you take them on, you wear yourself out for something that isn't what you want.
The Ego doesn't run nonstop. After a big effort it needs a break, and quietly doing nothing has its place with this Authority. When you live it, you may come across to others as stubborn or inconsiderate, because you push through what is yours even in the face of resistance. Being true to yourself here doesn't mean coming across as nice.
Even so, To Inform remains part of your path, so that you meet less resistance from the people around you. Part of this is listening to yourself as you speak: How does your voice sound, what is it saying, and is your heart in it? Where your will is directed depends on the path between the Heart and the Throat. The Type section shows which channels that path runs through in your chart, and the texts in the section on your channels describe what those channels bring.
For 14 days, whenever you commit to something, notice whether you actually want it yourself or only think you should. Each evening, write one sentence about how you could tell, and also note the times you couldn't tell the difference.
