Sacral Authority
Your decisions follow your gut's immediate response to the questions, offers and situations that come your way.
You have a defined Sacral Center and an undefined Solar Plexus. This occurs in Generators and Manifesting Generators; roughly a third of all people make decisions this way. Your inner Authority is your gut's response to whatever you encounter.
It shows up in the moment, often as a sound or an impulse, such as an approving “uh-huh” or a refusing “uh-uh.” Like any response, it needs something to respond to: it reacts to a question, an offer or a situation, and it doesn't take the initiative on its own.
Your gut voice judges; it doesn't debate. It can't explain itself, and your mind can easily override it. It may surprise you and the people around you. When you ask yourself the question, your head can quickly fake the answer; a response to questions from other people is often more reliable. Once you've committed to something, the momentum of the Sacral Center keeps carrying you forward, and stopping becomes hard; that's why the response before you commit is what counts.
Even with a clear yes, you can set conditions (“Yes, but …”); this can help make an exchange fair.
For 14 days, pay attention during small decisions to whether your body gives an “uh-huh” or an “uh-uh” before you start thinking, for example when you notice what on a menu grabs you. Each evening, write one sentence about it, and also make a note when no response came or when it didn't match what you did.
