Channel 35-36: The Channel of Transitoriness (A Jack of All Trades)
This channel embodies the desire to experience as much as possible and to keep moving on to something new. The hope that the next experience will bring what you are looking for often ends in Disappointment, which is why it is seen as the channel of expectations. The risk lies in following an impulse and throwing yourself into something new simply because it feels right in the moment. Whether it holds up becomes clear over time and through your Strategy and Authority. In relationships, part of the theme is how much change both of you are willing to handle, and the teaching recommends speaking openly about your own intentions. Your task is to tell which experiences truly fit you, because if you take in everything, none of it will leave you feeling full.
The two gates
Gate 35: The Gate of Change
Gate 35 is about the hunger for new experience and change. Its voice says something like “I feel,” usually in the sense of: it's time for something new.
Gate 36: The Gate of Crisis
Gate 36 is about emotional crises that can come back again and again and leave you deeply unsettled.
The two centers
When this channel is defined, both centers are defined.
Throat Center
The way you express yourself is consistent, and how it sounds depends on what your Throat is connected to.
Solar Plexus Center
Your feelings come in waves, and for you, clarity only arrives over time.
